DOG BOARDING
Paws Wright Inn opened for business on September 1st 2010 and is owned by a Registered Veterinarian Technician.
Our building was built new from the ground up and it featured 18 dog kennels. We expanded in June of 2017 and added an additional 17 dog kennels, to bring the total to 35 dog kennels. Keeping a lower number of kennels allows for more time to care for your pets.
Each dog has their own indoor 4'x 8' kennel with adjoined outdoor 4' x 12' kennel area. We have four kennels that are 8' x 8' inside and 8' x 12' outside for extended stays or multiple dogs. We cannot specifically reserve these kennels as priority is given to multiple dog households and large breed guests. Privacy panels separate kennels inside and outside to avoid fence fighting and diminish cage aggression. The outdoor kennel runs are covered to provide protection from the elements. The entire outdoor kennel area is secured by an 8-foot perimeter fence.
All kennels have in-floor heating and a doggie door to their outdoor run. Our facility also has ducted furnace and air conditioning for full range climate control. Doggie doors are closed during the night for safety and security. Owners live on site and come back out in the evening to let the dogs out for another bathroom break before being closed in for overnight.
Bedding and food dishes are provided, or you can bring the dog's own bedding and toys. Sometimes even an old towel or shirt with your familiar scent can help them settle in.
Each dog is taken out at least once a day, but the length of playtime varies on weather and the guest's activity level. Supervised socialization with a small group of dogs can be arranged with owner's permission. We also respect those who wish to be exercised alone. We have two outdoor fenced play yards and another covered play yard.
We understand the health of your dog is important to you, so we offer free administration of medication and supplements. If you have any special diet requirements for your pet (such as canned food, raw food, dehydrated, homemade etc.), as long as the food is provided, we can accommodate at no extra charge.
We recommend you bring your dog's regular food, but a good quality diet can be provided if necessary. We feed Canadian Naturals Lamb & Brown Rice Recipe at no extra charge.
Please bring (or email) your recent vaccination papers from your veterinarian so we can ensure the well-being of your pet.
Single dog boarding will be $45.00 per night.
Two dogs from the same family sharing the same kennel $65.00
Three dogs from the same family sharing the same kennel $75.00
Your dog can receive a basic bath for $15.00 while boarding.
Free bath before going home after one week stay.
